My name is Andrew Johnson. I am honored to be the coordinator of this
year's Leather Contingent for the San Francisco Pride Parade.

I am writing to invite your organization to participate in the Leather
Contingent this year. We are holding our second planning meeting on
Saturday, March 29th from 1 to 2 pm, in Room 300 of the SF LGBT
Community Center. I realize that this e-mail is providing short
notice for the meeting, but I hope a representative from your
organization will be able to attend. If no one from you organization
can attend this meeting, please drop me an e-mail and let me know if
you are interested in participating. We will have a few more
organizational meetings before Parade Day.

One important topic is that of vehicles in the Contingent. Currently,
we are under a deadline of April 1st to register all of the vehicles
which will be in the Contingent. Due to our status as a small
not-for-profit Contingent, there is no fee for registering vehicles
prior to April 1st, but this is a hard-and-fast deadline. If you
think your organization may be interested in having a vehicle, please
e-mail me IMMEDIATELY and let me know. Included in that, please let
me know if you're planning to have a passenger vehicle or a large
truck. Cancellation later in the planning process is completely
acceptable and will incur no cost or penalty.
