I had said I would like to put together the July Screw-up, but I don't think I can. I am going in for a spine injection the week before and am mostly flat on my back right now, so prep is kinda hard and I can't guarantee that I'd be able to go (depends if the injection works or not). Sorry! I hope this isn't toooo last minute for someone to jump on this opportunity to facilitate a screw-up. :)

Trans as Fuck is radical performance that shatters the confines of sexual expectations. This show is about expressing and exposing ourselves. Quite literally.

This is an 18 and older event.

Trans as Fuck: Exhibitionism at its finest! Trans as Fuck was founded in 2004 by Bay Area artists/activists, Seeley Quest and Storm Florez. The two artists were each looking for places to celebrate and heal their relationships with their bodies and sexuality via performance and realized that no such venue existed for trans and genderqueer people. The two decided to create a show specifically for this purpose.

The show has been a great success and has showcased a hot and talented line-up of performers with heartfelt, humorous and intense acts, some which have included stripping, body manipulation like piercing and pumping, erotic dance, fisting, squirting and carrots in butts.

Performers incorporate music, spoken word and frank discussion in their pieces which has allowed audience members to connect and engage with what's happening on stage. This year, Trans as Fuck was the recipient of a Queer Cultural Center grant, and will be featured in the 2008 National Queer Arts Festival.

One of the things my doctors did not tell me was that my orgasms would change without my uterus. I used to have these very intense orgasms with lots of contractions, that I now find out were probably uterine contractions.

My question is if there are any folks out there who have had a hysterectomy did it affect your orgasms? I know some folks who had hystos only use their dicks, but I also know some folks still use their front holes for fucking. Are there things you learned that helped you still have really good orgasms with your "vagina"?

I suppose I could also use some good advice from the ladies who have had vaginas constructed as well, since in some ways we're not all that different. Are there activities that are more sensory or positions that provide more pleasure than others?

Also, where might be a better place to ask these questions? I was hoping there might be queer sex positive sites cause most of the places I find info about hysterectomy tend to be focused on straight married women.

Thanks

Hey good peeps....we need topics for the next quarter for screwup. We'll probably be moving to a site on Market street, just fyi.

You don't have to consider yourself an expert...Screwup is diy, so if you have a passion or an interest, just share that experience, how others can do it, do a little research on helpful things to share (nothing like learning while sharing), and ideally something folks can do in the setting. Those are my helpful hints, and not necessarily what is expected by others who attend.

Screwup is BDSM for Trans and Queers, so it's helpful if the topic can be trans centric, or really inclusive of trans issues/awareness, it can be a sex positive presentation, instead of BDSM (like I did a porn night in febuary, but it was trans porn). March was on fun with ropes.

Post here or the screwup yahoo group and folks will help you nail it all down, so to speak.

And I'm not saying that my thoughts are necessarily appropriate. I would have felt different, for instance, at The Queer Playground. And probably still different at various other parties, but lets see if I can explain it all to you.

My girl and I went to Midori's Bang for the Buck Party.

The decription was: "So you know, this isn't strictly a SM play party. It's a lot more then that. It's a women's sex party that's kink positive with a strip-o-rama and free strip lesson before the party"

Now we were starting to play near the recovery area when we noticed a transperson lying there, naked with a large meat dick, wanking to beat the band.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I have always thought Bang for the Buck was a party focussed on Women's Energy. So I wasn't expecting it. And it made me, my girl, and a few other people uncomfortable. We would have moved, but there was no where else to play. So I kept my back to the wanker, and tried to stay between my girl and any view of that.

Several other women commented on this negatively in the course of the evening.

Were we wrong to expect that meat dicks would be a little more discreetly used? What if anything should we have done differently?

Because we have more and more trans and gender fluid people in our community, things like this are going to come up a lot more often. I think it's worth discussing. As someone said to me, "a female bodied person fingering zir clit at a men's party is not going to be tolerated, so why would a male genitaled person playing with a penis at a women's party." Do you agree, disagree, want to stop any gender or orientation specific parties?

Domina (please don't rake me over the coals for this. I'm not prejudiced against trans people, I just feel this isn't appropriate in what is supposed to be "women's space.YMMV)

Class from 8-10PM, Doors opening at 7:30

Would you like to take your masochism to the next
level? Do you wish to have less fear and more
catharsis in your scenes? This class focuses on
exploring and developing ways of channeling
energy/pain, as well as learning to experience
catharsis with authenticity. Each participant will
have the opportunity to try multiple methods for
processing "pain," as well as gain an understanding
of the advantages, disadvantages and potential uses of
these ways of processing sensation in their play. The
class is geared towards
masochists, but sadists and other orientations are
welcome to attend.

Mistress Lark graduated from Humboldt State University with
A Bachelors Degree in Sexual Arts, focusing on the
intersections of Tantra and BDSM. She is a Graduate
of the Journeyman III Academy of California with
advanced training in Leather history, traditions,
spirituality and practice. She has taught in both the
kink and non kink community for years and is happy
to be teaching at the SF Citadel.

Keri has been in the scene for over eight years and is
a cadet at the Journeyman III Academy, class of 2008.
Her column, "Kink in the City" can be read in the
monthly on-line magazine, kink-e-zine.com. Through
BDSM, she has discovered her own power and
strength. She identifies as a slave who is not a
beginner's model.

So, we need a new place to meet, every second Tuesday, ongoing. it needs to be wheelchair accessible, kink friendly, inexpensive/free, and near public transit. If anyone has any ideas of who we could approach, please let me know a.s.a.p.!

My name is Andrew Johnson. I am honored to be the coordinator of this
year's Leather Contingent for the San Francisco Pride Parade.

I am writing to invite your organization to participate in the Leather
Contingent this year. We are holding our second planning meeting on
Saturday, March 29th from 1 to 2 pm, in Room 300 of the SF LGBT
Community Center. I realize that this e-mail is providing short
notice for the meeting, but I hope a representative from your
organization will be able to attend. If no one from you organization
can attend this meeting, please drop me an e-mail and let me know if
you are interested in participating. We will have a few more
organizational meetings before Parade Day.

One important topic is that of vehicles in the Contingent. Currently,
we are under a deadline of April 1st to register all of the vehicles
which will be in the Contingent. Due to our status as a small
not-for-profit Contingent, there is no fee for registering vehicles
prior to April 1st, but this is a hard-and-fast deadline. If you
think your organization may be interested in having a vehicle, please
e-mail me IMMEDIATELY and let me know. Included in that, please let
me know if you're planning to have a passenger vehicle or a large
truck. Cancellation later in the planning process is completely
acceptable and will incur no cost or penalty.

Whether you are able to attend the meeting or not, you can always find
up-to-date information at http://www.hotboots.com/pride, which is our
official homepage, graciously provided by Larry Kenney, the proprietor
of hotboots.com. Also, you may choose to join the Leather Contingent
Yahoo Group, which can be found at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SFLeatherPrideMarchers/

Thanks for your attention; if you have any questions, please feel free
to drop me an e-mail. I hope to see you at the Contingent meeting on
Saturday and at the Parade.

We were talking and I mentioned my difficulty in not seeing people as male or female (though I'm getting better.) She mentioned she wished she knew more gender fluid, trans and genderqueer people in the area (she recently moved here) who might want to speak to her classes. She said that some of her students are already so set in their thinking they need some evidence of other viewpoints and alternatives.

I don't think she's on Tribe (and if she is, I'd be very surprised to see her on the more BDSM type Tribes, though it could happen) but I'd be happy to pass on your email address if you're interested in possibility talking about your experiences. So if you want to talk to her (she's a very nice lady, and dyke identified) please send me email and I'll put you in touch. I told her that I might know some people, and that I'd ask them if they would be interested.

Also, don't ask me for more information. You'll need to find out more from her. She's not my teacher. I met her totally by accident, and I'm taking computer courses, not gender studies. I thought she was another returning student.

Hey y'all,

I'm facilitating/leading the next screwup on Friday, March 14. I'm working out a couple of details for the workshop. First, the flyer. I have some basic text, but will wait until our location is finalized before posting the actual flyer. Here's the text I'm rolling around in my head for the flyer:

Rope play workshop.
Bringing the play back to bondage, Mykkah will share some fun ideas about tying people up… or down.

The second small detail is that I was planning to have a somewhat substantial demo to start off the workshop. For both that and the more instructional portion of the workshop, I need a couple of volunteer stunt bottoms. If you love rope, know how to sit still, and aren't afraid to get somewhat naked in front of a room of people, feel free to send me a note offline. I'm hoping to find models who differ by gender and body type. Oh, and I'm hoping to "practice" a bit this month before the workshop next month. Sometimes "research" and "practice" and "homework" are really kind of fun.

Looking forward,
Mykkah

fierce, yet friendly, competition of leather women, educational
and, of course, hot play parties around the clock. Each year, leather
women and *everyone* who loves them, experience an unforgettable event
which leaves them, not only with two outstanding title holders to

The weekend will begin Thursday night with "Seduction" presented by
Good Vibrations – an evening of burlesque, strip tease, drag kings and

Her erotica has appeared in a plethora of anthologies, including, most recently, Best Sex Writing 2008, More Five Minute Erotica (Carol Queen, ed!), Nobody Passes , Best Women's Erotica 2007, Naughty Spanking Stories A-Z 2. Based in the Bay Area, she's featured at such lascivious events as Sizzle, Writers With Drinks, the National Queer Arts Festival, and the Queer Open Mic. She participated in the smutty part of 2006's LitQuake LitCrawl, pouring out porn for a capacity crowd at GoodVibes. She's is a co-collaborator in the dyke erotica collective Dirty Ink, and, because she cannot get enough dirty words, leads erotic writing workshops and co-facilitates (with Carol Queen) a monthly Erotic Reading Circle at the Center for Sex and Culture. Jen writes to release, transform, and create space for as much unspoken erotica as possible, and is a firm believer in the transformative power of smut. She's preparing for a countrywide femme porn tour (Body Heat), which commences in April 2008, and will be sharing some of the kinky, naughty pieces that she's getting ready to take across America !

Gina de Vries is a queer writer and activist from San Francisco. Her fiction, memoir, journalism, and smut have been published and performed dozens of places, including: TransForming Communities, Baby Remember My Name, Tough Girls 2, Dirty Girls, More Five Minute Erotica, On Our Backs magazine, Curve magazine, Sodom & Me: Queers on Fundamentalism, and Bound to Struggle: Where Kink & Radical Politics Meet. She blogs for national LGBT blog bilerico.com, curates shows for San Francisco in Exile, works at the Center
for Lesbian & Gay Studies at California's grooviest divinity school, and spends far too much time thinking about god, sex, and words. She enjoys glitter, genderfuck, pretty boys, tough girls, and things that go whap. Check out her website at queershoulder.livejournal.com.

Great event coming up in SF - Transformative Tantra Weekend!
Please forward to anyone or any lists who you think would be interested. Thanks!!

Transformative Tantra:Transgender, Transgressive, Transcendent
February 2nd and 3rd, 2008, 10 AM to 5 PM
Center for Sex and Culture, San Francisco

Barbara Carrellas, author of Urban Tantra and Dossie Easton, co-author of Radical Ecstasy and The Ethical Slut, join forces to explode the myths and embrace the power of SM, gender journeying and Tantra.

If you are curious about the ecstatic possibilities of Tantra and other energy-focused sexual paths, but have felt too queer, too gender-queer, too kinky, too slutty, or too down-to-earth to feel comfortable in traditional Tantra groups, you'll love this weekend-facilitated by two women who have spent their entire adult lives exploring perverted paths to ecstasy. Persons of all genders and lovers of all stripes are welcome.

What is/are your gender(s)? Your partners' gender(s)? Do you really have to choose only one? We'll look at what gender is and what it isn't, and then find new ways to express it, pervert it and play with it. Next, we'll explore sexual energy as a physical force that you can activate, build, shape, and ride to amplify all your erotic encounters. We'll end our first day with a shared journey, as we intertwine our experience of masculine and feminine and both and neither into a big ecstatic circle of breath.

On Sunday, we'll explore the different elements and styles of energy-sharing and power exchange in sexual relationships. Using techniques from Tantra and BDSM, and the occasional bit of rope, we'll experiment with consciously polarizing and uniting opposites: active and receptive, masculine and feminine, power and helplessness. Is it true that the further apart we polarize our roles, the hotter the spark that bridges the gap? Let's find out!

All genders, sexual preferences and orientations are welcome.

To register or for more info contact: <mailto:mail@sexandculture.org>mail@sexandculture.org or 415-255-1155. The full weekend workshop is available for $395 per person, early bird special of $360 if you reserve before January 1st.

Trans Tantra Introductory Evening
Friday, February 1, 2008
7 - 10 PM at the Center for Sex and Culture
$25 per person

Meet the authors Barbara Carrellas and Dossie Easton for an evening of chat and some experimental journeys in breath and consciousness. Get a taste of the weekend to come, satisfy your curiosity about Tantra and other energy-focused sexual paths, and discover how Tantra can help you unleash some unique abilities within yourself. Persons who have no experience in Tantra who intend to attend the full weekend are particularly encouraged to attend this evening, but all are welcome to join us for a taste of Tantra.
-cloth dye markers
-your old estrogen and testosterone vials (once I have enough I will make an art piece out of mine)
or anything else that you can think you may be able to use creatively and with kink on your mind.

Some supplies will be brought. If you want something specific and you can't afford it, ask us, we may be able to get some of it with the screwup fund money.

Great event coming up in SF - Trans Tantra Weekend!
Please forward to anyone or any lists (including the screwup list!) who you think would be interested. Thanks!!

Trans Tantra: Transgender, Transgressive, Transcendent

Wanna wrestle at Queer Playground this Friday?

I was curious if there's any toughies out there that might want to roll around with me and wrestle, punch, and make-out rough-like on Friday, 10/26 at the Citadel. Think 12 year-old boys (all genders welcome) that get the house all to themselves without parental supervision and beat up on one another in a homo-erotic fashion.

I'm very flexible with this simultaneous power-sharing ('primal play'), but personally love receiving and giving the following:

Trying to pin one another/wrestle!
Punching
Biting
Hair Pulling
Name calling
Being silly & Laughing
Kissing
Spanking

This is very active play, sweat inducing (as in *I* sweat a lot, so you'll get slippery) and hilarious. We can take turns in-scene switching, or if you're actually stronger than me I'd love to be topped, but this isn't a scene that is focused on obedience or rigid Top/Bottom dynamics (which I also love), but being able to share power in an equal format, which can be very fun and liberating, and sometimes be reminiscent of ritualistic strength training. PM me or let's talk about it here. I love bruises, scratches and all kinds of marks, so if you have a lot of marks restrictions, this might not be the best scene for you.

Finally, while I am flexible about some things, aftercare is a must for me. I exert a lot of energy and there's nothing like laying in a bed cuddling and holding one another to help my inner-bully not feel like an awful Dr. Jekyll. I would also like to be able to chat with whoever I play with the next day and if comfortable, get coffee sometime down the road.

I have x-posted this for Primal on Dec 8th (and on the QP tribe), so if there's anyone out there that can't make it to QP, ask me details about Primal or check out their tribe:

Also, I'm heading out to the Littles play party on Sunday as well. If there's any trans/queer/genderless/open-minded/friendly/awesome people interested in meetin up with me for that shin-dig let me know!

Thanks,

Johnny
